The idea of going to Southampton to visit the 'Saints' home ground crossed my mind. Then to my delight I found myself with thousands of protesters marching through Rome carrying pictures of Italian Minister for Education Maria Gelmini. They had given her a halo, like a Saint, for reasons I still don't know. The streets were full of people and noise. I liked this woman's truncated head appearing over her banner.
